Print – Cutting through the noise

With the proliferation of online media you could be forgiven for thinking that print is on the wane. In reality, what is actually happening is that printed promotional material, particularly when it is used creatively, is increasingly providing the opportunity to cut through the digital information overload that we are all experiencing.

The Brief

Interfood Technology is one of the leading suppliers of equipment to the food processing industry in the UK and Ireland. In what is a highly competitive market, the company wanted some new literature that made it stand out from the crowd, literature that provided a brief overview of the business and demonstrated the commitment to quality that is fundamental to the Interfood philosophy.

The Solution

An 8-page, double gate-fold brochure which highlights not only the equipment on offer but, importantly, the end products that are achieved. A special metallic fifth colour was used as the background to convey the stainless steel used in the construction of Interfood’s food processing machinery. A heavyweight stock was employed to give a feeling of quality to the brochure, further accentuated by the use of Spot UV varnish on the product images and High Build Spot UV to pick out the company logo.

To carry the brochure (and supplementary information on individual machines), a complementary folder was produced, complete with a magnetic closing mechanism and an anti-scuff laminate finish to ensure it will withstand continuous handling.

Print is far from dead. In a world in which we are constantly bombarded with messages through our screens, creative, considered and well executed literature can cut through the noise.  To see how S&U can help you stand out from your competitors, get in touch.
