The Aerospace & Defence Meetings in Warsaw, Poland start on May 11th 2015. The industry event is a two and a half day programme which consists of one-to-one meetings, workshops, seminars and key conferences. This event differs from other exhibitions as it is a bespoke, business-to-business matchmaking platform that offers opportunities for networking in the aerospace and defence sector. Shaw & Underwood has two clients taking part at the exhibition this year, Amari Aerospace and Wilsons Metals.

Within a week of being briefed, Shaw and Underwood executed the design, production and freighting of the display booths.

All organisation of the displays was handled from the office here in Edgbaston, allowing the clients to ‘just turn up on’ the day of the exhibition. This service offers a real time-saving benefit to the client, as they do not have to get involved in the exhibition stand set-up and can concentrate on the task in hand. Liaison began with the conference organisers as soon as the briefing was received, followed by production of the display assets. Freighting and installation in Poland were also organised, as well as arrangements for return at close.

Despite being a relatively small task in comparison to other exhibition projects Shaw & Underwood works on, it was a complex job that required high-levels of attention-to-detail, communication and preparation.
