A recent report by Ofcom has shown that smartphone use has exceeded that of laptops, making handheld devices the most popular in the UK. The amount of time spent on smartphones each day by UK adults has almost doubled, with users spending up to four hours on their phones.

Aero Metals Alliance at the 51st Paris Air Show
This year’s Paris Air Show was the 51st to take place - the event is over a hundred years old, making it the longest running aerospace show. The event was open from 15th to 21st of June; the first four days were reserved for trade visitors, followed by three days that were open to the general public. There were 130 aircraft including Falcon8X, Dassualt Aviation’s latest business jet which was in fact only shown to the public for the first time at the show. The Airbus A350 and A400M were also shown for the first time at the show.
Shaw & Underwood turns around displays for overseas exhibition within a week
The Aerospace & Defence Meetings in Warsaw, Poland start on May 11th 2015. The industry event is a two and a half day programme which consists of one-to-one meetings, workshops, seminars and key conferences. This event differs from other exhibitions as it is a bespoke, business-to-business matchmaking platform that offers opportunities for networking in the aerospace and defence sector. Shaw & Underwood has two clients taking part at the exhibition this year, Amari Aerospace and Wilsons Metals.
